Personal Injury

Many people who suffer accidents resulting in personal injury attempt to negotiate with insurance companies themselves. However, without knowledge of the law or court procedure, cases can be dismissed, delayed, or settled at an unfairly low rate. If you or a loved one have recently suffered an accident and are considering filing a legal claim, it is important to obtain professional legal assistance. A personal injury accident can be overwhelming and difficult to get through, but securing competent and zealous legal assistance can allow you to breathe easier knowing that you do not have to face it alone.

Triumph Law Group will advocate on your behalf to get full restitution for your injuries.

Car Accidents

An auto accident injury occurs every 6 seconds. In California, car accidents occur more often than any other state in the U.S. simple because we have many cars and an intricate highway system. Chances are you have been or will be involved in a car accident at some point in your life. If you are injured due to any type of accident, you deserve to be compensated for your damages and injuries.

When you get into a car accident, whether or not you are at fault, you can legally protect yourself by taking a few simple steps:

  • Ask every driver involved for his/her driver’s license and proof of insurance. Write down the information or take a picture of the documents using your cell phone or camera.
  • Take high quality pictures of the accident scene and any damage to your vehicle and the other party's vehicle. Save these pictures for your own protection - because if the other party gets into another accident the same day, you need to have proof what damages was caused by you.
  • Interview any witnesses, and ask for their contact information, such as names and phone numbers. Witnesses can be a valuable source of information for proving your case or disproving a case that someone else brought against you.
  • Get medical care. If you have major injuries, call an ambulance. If you have minor injuries, check into the nearest healthcare facility.
  • Call the police. If interviewed by the police, state the facts of what happened.
  • Take notes. More information equals more legal protection. Write down what happened, date and time of accident, location of accident, traffic conditions, apparent injuries to you and any other parties, does the other driver appear intoxicated?
  • If you are not able to return to normal activities then it is even more important to keep accurate records of all of your appointments that you have with your physician and to ask for copies of the medical reports so that you will be able to re-produce these documents if necessary.
